Hello, Gloucester Township! Keith Gibbons here, a dedicated Board of Education member and your GT United for Change candidate for Mayor. As we head toward the election on November 4, 2025, I want to proactively address misinformation about my record and stand firm against attempts to distort my values. You deserve the truth, and I’m here to deliver it with transparency and integrity.

My Passion for Special Services
As a Board member, I am fully committed to special services for our students with disabilities. These programs are the heart of ensuring every child in our district has the opportunity to succeed. With the growing number of students needing these services in Gloucester Township and across New Jersey, we must expand our programs to meet this demand. Our kids deserve nothing less than the best support, and I will always champion their needs and the needs of those educators delivering for these children and their families.
My Voting Record: Standing Up for Taxpayers
I am certain it will be alleged that I’m “against special services” because of my votes on certain invoices on the Board’s bill list each month. The truth of the matter is: my votes are a protest against wasteful spending, not against the programs themselves. The cost of the hourly wage vendors charge us is roughly double what we would pay to employ special services staff directly—one in particular is paid millions annually. I am sure my advocacy for the programs themselves will conveniently be ignored.
I believe we should build a stronger, in-house special services program, hiring dedicated educators at fair rates to better serve our students while keeping more money in our schools. It is my opinion that this approach would strengthen our programs and respects your hard-earned tax dollars, while preparing for the needs of a population of students who are also among the most vulnerable. These opinions come from taking the time to visit the programs and get first hand info from teachers. Listening to their experiences and learning the hurdles they face.
As a sitting Board member, I must emphasize that these are my personal opinions, based on my experience and research, and do not reflect the views of the Gloucester Township Board of Education or its members. My loyalty is to our community and doing what’s right.
Confronting the Camden County Machine
As a public figure and podcast host who regularly challenges inefficiencies and favoritism, I’m a target for the Camden County political machine, a group accused many times for doing whatever it takes to hold onto power. Because I work with people from both sides of the aisle to find common-sense solutions, they may try to smear me by associating me with others to falsely claim I hold extreme views—like supporting defunding the police. This is not the case. Our local police should know they have my full support, and I’ve always stood for strong, responsible public safety. These ridiculous claims are designed to distract from the real issues and protect insider interests over our community’s needs. As your Mayor, I’ll fight these political tactics and focus on what’s best for Gloucester Township.
